Abdominal Surgery - Roux-en-Y Procedure to Correct Damaged Common Bile Duct. This medical exhibit uses five images to portray a Roux-en-Y procedure after removal of the gallbladder (cholecystectomy). The first images depict cutting and repositioning of the jejunum and duodenum. The remaining images describe the anastomoses of the jejunum with the hepatic duct, and of the duodenum to the lower jejunum. The post-operative condition is pictured in the final illustration. May be customized by editing labels, or by combining artwork with graphics from our 15,000 image library.
