Accurately depicts knee replacement surgery of an infected arthritic left knee joint with a total knee prosthesis. Surgery steps: A. Distal femur and proximal tibial joint surfaces are removed with a bone saw; B. Temporary spacer within the knee joint is inserted as a "place holder" until the infection has healed and the knee is ready for a permanent prosthesis. A.
